Personality answers:

Who in your character's canon influenced the most growth in your character? What do they think about this character?

Okay. so this is complicated due to the nature of Amphoreus but Cyrene is also NOT Cyrene while still being her. TL;DR? The 13th titan(god) named Demiurge listened to the original Cyrene’s stories over 30 million eternal recurrence cycles and became the closest to her. Refers to her as ‘Peach’ and helped give her a purpose AND a form, succeeding her once the original Cyrene perished. So.. the short version is that technically Cyrene herself influenced the most growth in her/the Demiurge and without her things would have progressed a lot differently in the story.

They adore Peach because she kept them company when she was all alone, encouraging her to learn and become stronger as an entity while time passed. Showing her what it was like to love and be happy. Something she was able to pass on to others/the other chrysos heirs during her time with/around them.

She inherited Peach’s kind heart as well, so it’s what makes her functionally the ‘new’ Cyrene while also being a memetic entity in the overall world.

Again referencing the OG but.. If we go by that? Then the most important person who helped influence growth as a character, would have to be Phainon as he was/is her childhood friend from Aedes Elysiae and she values him deeply. She appreciates his strength of will and his determined heart, knowing he still managed to be kind after all the trauma he experienced.

She believes he also deserves happiness after everything he’s been through.

What does your character think about physical appearances? Are they the sort to meticulously primp themselves, or could they not care less?

Cyrene doesn’t put a lot of stakes into her appearance and if it’s imperfect, that’s fine. She has some mixed feelings about the way she looks, since it’s a constant reminder of the original Cyrene and what could have been. Wanting to honor her and carry on her name, to do her best to keep writing stories and spreading love wherever she can.

Going off of OG Cyrene? She does tend to dress cute but casual, but she’s the farthest from vain as one could get. Her focus is on others around her, after all. Which means she’s likely to give genuine compliments towards others when she can, but won’t shy away if someone was to compliment her appearance.

If anything, she is heavily the type of girl who doesn’t judge others and would instead use their appearances as a talking point to learn more about who they are as an individual in the world. The concept of otherworlders will also be fascinating to her and anything she doesn’t know is something she’d want to know so anything that stands out in someone’s appearance is something she will ask about.

She won’t judge by looks alone, but by their personality and who they really are deep down. It’s just simply not a part of who she is now or who she was in the past, and it’s not likely to change anytime soon unless something horribly drastic was to change her outlook on this matter.

Your character must live with only one sense for a year. They are allowed to choose. What do they pick? Why? How do they cope?

Given her beginnings, I believe Cyrene would choose to have her sense of hearing. That’s what she started with and how she learned about the world; listening. She wouldn’t mind doing it again if it meant she could hear everybody speak and talk, listening how their voices change during matters that mean something to them.

To hear how happy or sad they are when they speak, the rise and fall of their voices and how the shifts occur whenever they discuss the people they like or people who have remotely irked them. Even if she could not speak, she would still love to listen because it’s the one way she could know she wasn’t alone in the world.

Everything has a sound and it’s not just people. From the trees’ leaves swaying in the breeze, to the heartbeats of a single girl waiting for her long lost friend to return. Being able to hear the crunch of grass and know civilization is thriving as they walk around her, and while it would be tough to lack the ability to see, touch, taste and speak? She’d be resilient enough to keep listening to everything and everyone until the day she was able to truly be back in the same exact world as them.

Experiencing this would give her a new appreciation for what she has now, taking it to heart and realizing just how important it is to be able to have all the pieces of the puzzle lining up before her properly.

What would be your character's lowest, darkest moment they've lived through? How did they respond to their troubles and face their demons?

The answer is both simple and yet not. Cyrene’s lowest and darkest moments came during the 33 million eternal recurrence cycles where time and time again she would be killed by Khaslana (Phainon) and be left on her own to try and keep herself company (the demiurge/bud of memory) by telling them stories of her hometown and the things she’s experienced until the cycle was to reset.

What makes it such a low was there were times she feared she would forget the things from her hometown, like the warmth of the sun or what it was like to sit in the wheat fields of Aedes Elysiae or why she was doing this. She wondered if she would always feel the way she did when she recalled these things or if her thoughts would change, and it was always so inherently lonely. She was scared and the fact she was just a young woman made to experience death and this loneliness over and over was the worst part, doing what she could to cope with this but soon became aware of the other’s presence and kept telling them stories more as a fun way to tell them about the world.

She wanted someone; something to know her feelings and to carry them on even when she no longer was able to. Someone who would understand her dreams, desires for love and the future even if she would technically never live to actually see it, believing in the one true Deliverer from beyond the sky who would come and inevitably save them from these cycles.

It would have been too easy to give up but she didn’t. Her strength of will and heart persisted much longer than anyone would have expected and it has been passed on through to the Demiurge who now has her name, memories and feelings as a part of her now.

Inventory:

A set of tarot cards
The Book of As I’ve Written (which technically contains the entire story of Amphoreus/the stories of the Chrysos Heirs and what they accomplished) It’s def a magical item of sorts, with glowy pages and everything.
This quill
Powers/Abilities:

As far as mundane skills go? She’s able to shoot a bow (learned from March 7th) and is quite skilled at reading tarot cards. Cyrene is also quite a talented writer/loves to write stories which has carried over into the main plot/is relevant!!

Her actual powers/abilities tie into the demiurge’s abilities which she summons as an off-field memosprite in battle and can hugely buff the powers/abilities of the Chrysos Heirs uniquely. It’s mostly meant to buff their crit dmg/crit rate but can remove debuffs, allow them to act faster and ignore the enemy’s defenses. Some even allow her to regenerate energy for her allies and ultimately boost their attack dmg.

If not a Chrysos Heir? Cyrene simply boosts the attack damage of her allies overall.

When it comes to basic attacks, she summons/creates arrows out of ice and shoots them at the enemy with a chance to freeze them. She can also fly/float but mostly tends to stay on the ground for the most part, though it also needs to be said none of her powers are really world breaking or anything like that.

Samples: Here & Here
Player Goals: I wanted to bring her here so she can experience what it’s like to travel to another world, and see how she handles the hardships here. She’s a general ray of positivity and love so I believe she would do good here, but the stuff that happens is going to generally test everything she knows and has believed.

I want to genuinely see if it shakes her to her core or if she can come out of it just as strong as ever.
